Here at Frame Set & Match, we have a range of various styles and colours of mountboards to help enhance and protect your artwork and pictures. We also offer Mountboard decoration.

Conservation Mountboards

The function of the mountboard is to distance the artwork from the glass and to enhance the picture. Photographs have a tendency to stick to the glass if in direct contact, causing irreversible damage. When framing pictures we use Bainbridge Alphamat Artcare mountboards. Their unique patented molecular trap technology collects airborne acid gases and stops them from attacking the artwork. The boards keep their colour and the bevels stay white.

Museum Moutboards

For museum standard we provide Bainbridge Alpharag Artcare boards which are 100% cotton rag. Both Alpharag and Alphamat boards come in a range of thicknesses.
